Testimonials

Volunteering at ArtSparks over the last 5-6 months has been extremely fulfilling. I'm glad I can help in small ways-putting stories together for the world to see and hear; helping ArtSparks teams amplify their voices and their work. I love how my volunteering relationship is professional but warm; a lot of effort goes into building relationships with volunteers and finding the best ways in which people can contribute. There is respect and acknowledgement of the time, effort and energy that volunteers put in and an open expression of gratitude both ways-these are small but significant things for organisations and it feels great to be part of this kind of work culture even as a volunteer.

The thing I like the most about being a volunteer at ArtSparks is I get to meet new people and gain new perspectives. I get a sense of belonging while volunteering at ArtSparks because of the community vibe and all the friendly and kind people that I meet. I must admit, it is a good way to spend time outside of my work, which helps me unwind from all my stress. I really appreciate the fact that ArtSparks involves all volunteers in their decisions, be it adding questions in the forms or ideas for fundraising which makes us feel valued. I feel really fortunate to be a part of ArtSparks, volunteering in my own small way, which gives me a sense of fulfilment. I am extremely thankful to get this opportunity to make a difference as a Wellness Checker at ArtSparks.

Foundations like ArtSparks is doing so much work to help the youngsters of the nation and also I am a senior citizen and I can work from home. It is easy for me to contribute this way. The different types of interactions I have had with students as well as parents during Wellness Check calls motivates me to continue being a volunteer of ArtSparks.
