EdSparks Extended
Open to all EdSparks Collective cohort members. The purpose is to sustain the momentum created through the EdSparks Collective program; build a community of reflective practitioners who continue to develop understanding, at a deeper level, of the potential of art to enhance children’s education and enrich student learning; support practical application in the field; deter highly problematic practices done in the name of art, creativity, and innovation in education, and instead help develop a more discerning understanding.

ONLINE LEARNING CIRCLES
The intent of Learning Circles is to continue to build and share knowledge around art education with the cohort members through hands-on sessions and discussions. Learning Circles also provide an opportunity to come together, hear what participants are engaging in, and offer multiple ideas and perspectives. Workshop topics will range from effective teaching practices, pedagogical strategies and tools, exploring art mediums, and other relevant art education-related topics to extend the learning that occurred during the EdSparks Collective program. ONLINE OPEN FORUMS
Open Forums are intended to serve as a safe and brave space hosted by ArtSparks for cohort members to come together; brainstorm ideas for different art program initiatives they’d like to set up within their respective organizations; update the progress of ongoing art program efforts taken; clarify doubts related to program ideas being tested or art-based curriculum being designed; receive feedback for their initiatives from other members and the ArtSparks team. Frequency: Once in a month for the entire school year |

FIELD BASED REGIONAL MEETS
To be able to support participant organizations further (beyond the comprehensive online support that we envision), engage at participant sites, as well as to be able to capture data from the field, ArtSparks intends to, conduct occasional regional meets (North, West, or East), visiting participant organizations. We envision visiting organizations, in two regions. And extending an invitation to other organizations positioned in surrounding areas to come and participate in the 2-3 day meet at the visiting organization’s site.
