Investigating Materials

Children are provided with collage papers and they also collect various other materials like cardboards, newspapers, threads etc. Children then start exploring these materials like the many ways in which it can be folded, the difference between cutting with scissors and tearing using fingers, how various textures can be made and how pattens can be created using these materials. This activity develops investigative skills in children.
